Doctor Jeevren Reddy

Dr Jeevren Reddy (50), grew up in KwaDukuza and Is currently residing in the town. He studied the Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery degree (MBChB) and obtained his Post Graduate Diploma in Occupational Health at the University of KwaZulu-Natal (UKZN). His Post Graduate Diploma in Family Medicine was obtained at the University of Pretoria. Dr Reddy also serves as a Travel Medicine Consultant and Principal Investigator on Clinical Trials for various pharmaceutical companies. Dr Reddy has been practicing as a General Practitioner for 24 years. it is a privilege and great blessing to be able to serve your fellow man and to become a trusted part of your patient's extended family. It is also an immensely rewarding experience to be able to help others - that's what makes me passionate about my job as a GP.

Dr Prasheen Rambaran

Doctor

Dr Prasheen Rambaran (33), grew up in Springfield, Durbentancl is currently residing in Verulam. He studied the Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery degree (MBBS) at the Sir Seewoosagur Raingoolam (SSR) Medical College at the University of Mauritius. Dr Rambaran has been practicing as a General Practitioner for 6 years, with his special interest in internal medicine leading him to work in an emergency setting in various private hospital casualty units since 2015."I think the main factor that drives my passion is focusing on patient care and interactions as if treating my own close family members and understanding that a medical emergency does not just require a conipetent doctor, but rather someone who can empathize with patients and their family members, communicate effectively and keep patients and their families calm and assured. Working in a casualty department is not just a job, medical emergencies can he scary for patients and traumatic for their loved ones. We need to be considerate of all the factors and my role as practice manager at Redpill Casualty Group is to ensure that all our doctors are of highest competency and display compassion always. I love working at KwaDukuza Private Hospital. Since joining the KPH family, lain happy to be here full-time with no other obligations. My focus is to re-establish KPH as a destination for quality healthcare and competence. The emergency departments focus are the patients we manage, and my mission is to provide the highest service and hopefully, with time, gain the full support and confidence of our serviceable community and help KPH grow to reach its full potential. It is exciting and I am happy to be part of the positive change at this hospital," shared Dr Rambaran.

Dr Upasna Singh

Doctor

Dr Upasna Singh (31.), grew up in Mithanagar, Tongaat and is currently residing in the village. She studied the Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery degree (MBBS) at the Sir Seewooagur Ramgoolam (SSR) Medical College at the University of Mauritius. She engaged in a 3-year clinical research fellowship with CAPRISA, and still holds this position as an unpaid fellow. She Is currently completing a postgraduate diploma in Tuberculosis and NW with the University of Cape Town (UCT). Dr Singh has been practicing as a general practitioner for 4 years, with 1 years' experience in the Paediatric ICU and Neonatal ICU and 1 year in Emergency Medicine. "file care that we provide as doctors in the emergency room Influences and guides the path of treatment and the outcome of our patients. Each case affords me the opportunity to offer timeous medical and pastoral care to patients and families who are, by virtue of coming to an emergency room, already under high levels of stress. It also allows me to interact with a range of medical conditions and emergencies and thereby draw on knowledge and skills from various disciplines within the field. My profession requires of me and allows me to keep abreast occurrent trends, innovations and research in the field. Being brought up in Tongaat and having schooled along the North-Coast, Kwadukuza Private is not just a place of work, but rather an avenue for me to give back to my own and surrounding communities along the north coast of KZN in the form of medical care.
